Maytag MSS20C1114 Ice Cube System

Good morning all,

I’m wondering if someone could shed some light on a problem with the above American style fridge/freezer?

Essentially, it isn’t functioning correctly, and water is distributed from the unit down into the freezer section.

I know little about these appliances, and may refer the customer to a specialist, but did say I would try and help.

Do the symptoms appear to be a faulty unit, and if so, does one renew it? Or perhaps there are certain tests which can be conducted?

Any help much appreciated.

Hi

If you have ice forming on the base of the freezer section then it’s probably due to a blocked drain.
