    Hi All

Maytag washing machine, MWA 09149 WH/1 – was in the middle of a wash, stopped with red symbol and flashing F:12 error.

    Washing was wet – removed
Emptied the water using the bottom drain plug – nothing stuck in there, not a huge amount of water.

Tried turning off (remove plug) for 15 mins – whenever I try and start any wash, I can hear a few relay clicks, and then immediately after, F:12 error and red symbol again.

Can’t find this specific error anywhere online or on the forum – does anyone know what this is?

If it’s fixable – any suggestions for someone in Warwick/CV34?

    Thanks

HI. F12 is a drain Error code. So pull out the filter and then look in the back and see if you can feel the pump blade. you should be able to flick it round with your finger. if it does not move something is stuck in it.

If its not stuck you could have coins in the hose or the pumps had it.

there is a bad video on youtube if you search Maytag F12
