Maytag MWA09149WH showing F22 error

I was at this machine yesterday and all it does is display F22 – which is apparently a door lock error.
However the door is firmly locked and you can hear relays clicking away, but nothing is happening. Switch it off and the machine unlocks normally after 2 minutes.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

hotpoint used to do this when brushes were open circuit

Thanks, but I’m pretty sure it’s a 3 phase motor. It could still be a motor fault causing it, as it definitely isn’t going round…
