Maytag not producing ice or water.

Hi, I have the MSS20FSSI3 model. The unit stopped making both water & ice over night. When I press the water lever I hear what I assume is the pump making a noise. Water is getting to the unit & I’ve recently replaced the filter.

Reading other posts it suggests this could be a valve problem? Is this correct & how can I fix this?

Have you been able to check that water is flowing through the filter and to the valve?
If it is then you will need to check the resistance of the valve by unplugging its connectors and testing through these terminals. You will also need to get tested that the valve is getting power on demand but would recommended you do this unless you are a competent person with regards to electrics.

Never test on a live appliance. Always remove the plug.

Thanks for the advise. This sounds a little beyond me so will see if I can find some locally.
