Meile Dishwasher

Going to my first Meile dishwsher on Monday. The complaint is: trips RCD, but only opn the drying cycle. have some models got an extra heater for drying only? Def OK during the wash heat phase according to Cust.

I’m not sure without the model but I’ve definitely seen a dual element in a Miele D/W before (an old one ;))

Could be the fan motor. the flaps jam and water goes inside. never known one to trip out but its possible.

Sounds like it could be the “Release Element” on the Condenser Fan, this costs £33.63+v.a.t- part no’ 5066910, fan assy’ £90.79
+v.a.t- part no’ 4887112.

Would need model num’ to determine exact part but these do most of them.

Could be water softener regen valve, water leaks down on to it & it is energised during the drying cycle

Went to this machine today and the only obvious thing I could see was a small unit which what looked like a PTC devise next to the drying fan and semed to open a sort of valve in the ven. This had some water marks on it possibly causing a short.

If its the same devise used in Dishwasher powder dispensers, these do tend to short circuit, Miele part will be dearer than non-gen
