I have a 6yr old meile fridge freezer that has a temperature display fault. Instead of displaying the temperature in degrees C it has changed to displaying the temp in degrees F ! Is it possible to change back, if so how? Thanks

    Hi

Iv’e had a quick look in the instructions but can’t see it in there. It may be that it needs an engineers touch 😉

    Hi
I was hoping an engineer on your forum might know, otherwise it is expensive to call out a Meile engineer. I have checked the cct boards and there are no microswitches on them to change it over so i’m guessing that there must be a switch combination that will do it.

hello, what value is it showing?
are you sure it’s not showing a fault code, ie F2, F4 etc.

Definitly showing temperature in Fahrenheit. The fridge shows the temp range of +36 to +53 ( equiv C is 2 to 12)and the freezer shows the range +5 to -14 (Equiv deg C is -15 to -25). Perhaps I should just change the markings on the display to F !! and pretend I am living in the past.
