KeymasterNo doubt someone will buy one in the UK…

Hope they don’t fit it to a cooker under warranty or ask someone to fit it for them or there’s liable to be a bit of head scratching going on.

got to wonder about this given its size and that energy regs/gas valves need varying amount of torque to turn them and what if someone fits it to a 6 position switch type?

Sounds like another “Let’s sell something completely pointless, but we’ll market it with a ton of bul…t and folks will think they NEED one”. Utter cobblers IMHO

If I were to guess…
Set end and stop points then it’d self-calibrate that, first part anyways.
Second point can’t be used on electric.
Next thing, how does it cope with varying burner sizes and ratings?
How does it cope with different pan sizes and materials?
All of which leads me to think that this may not end well in some cases, knowing of course that there’s a huge number of muppets out there, even some “clever” muppets.
Best advice is, by a damned sous vide and learn how to poach and egg, it’s not rocket science and a damn sight easier than faffing about with that malarky.
And yes, I know, a very “Martin-esque” comment.

K.The Meld Knob + Clip was designed to work on virtually every gas and electric cooktop. It works with cooktops that have the knob mounted on the front, on the back, or that mount to the top.
