BlockedJust a thought, I know that we are going to keep members details private from the public eye, but what about a list of members details here in the TACF? Also, are we going to put up new member applicants details to view?
Adrian 🙂

KeymasterRe: Members details and new applications.
I’ve been agonising over this one.
There may be a better way, such as simply publishing a list of member names against the membership number. That’s enough to check if a company is a member but also doesn’t give out any real information as such freely.
Does that sound like a sensible compromise?

OH, OH!!!
[bounces up and down…]
Yes, member applications!
I totally forgot that! 😕
Here’s my take, feel free to shoot me down in flames…
We post up a company name, postcode, phone on the main WTA forum and ask for any objections. If nowt, simply process.
If there’s an objection I think we should ask for a “why, what, where” etc., take a view then if it’s too tough to call we fly it past the AC.
That way it’s totally fair and there’s three levels to it, which also means that if there’s any comeback on one we do not allow to join there’s three groups that said, “NO”.
I like things done in threes. 😉

No problem with AC looking at membership objections. If applicant accepted, I would suggest that that any objections be either deleted or moved into the AC forum.
Otherwise, I have no objection to my company name appearing in a member list.

Is there any chance a list can be complied then to be posted in this thread? Have we had any new member applications since we formed?

Not this week. 😉
TBH there’s not a lot of hope this side of Christmas I shouldn’t think, no-one has the time just now. Can we revisit this after silly season ends?
There’s been a couple of signups, both were existing UKW and repairs@ members, have been for a while, so I couldn’t see any issue as they already complied happily with the COP.
