Best wishes, everybody.
Thought Adrian had a bit of an Arsey avatar, rather than a Manchy one? Mine might be rather Cocky if I went that way……..
Small point to consider as we have a few days free – a New Year statement might be in order. We had a bit of a flurry of activity when we started and we have promised transparency to everybody…………. so a WTA statement/progress report to start the New Year may be a good idea.

Merry Christmas evryone and all the best for 2008. Maybe this will be the year that we start to make a difference to the trade we are all part of.
We have to make the effort this year to reach out to others and get them involved in what we are trying to do, not just the ones that are glued to their PC monitors.
If we can get enough onboard then together we will make a difference.
This will mean stepping outside of our comfort zones and reaching out to new potential comrades who will initially only see us as the competition.
That’s my wish for 2008 anyway.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all in the new and effective T.A.
2008 will see the plans we have made develop and produce some lasting results. Getting our COP rubberstamped by the OFT: tackling Corgi for transparency and clarity on gas issues relating to cookers and driers: and with rising membership, persuade the WP’s that slavery has been abolished and a decent rate should be paid for our services. But I think we have moved collectively and coherently in the right direction. In just 4 months.
The next 12……..well; watch this space…… 😉Many thanks to all the UKW staff for the platform on which the WTA was launched.
Have a good one!!!
Steve.
