I have in for repair the above m/wave, and had 2-3 different faults already,corrected them all, but now there is an error code (E2) when the m/wave finishes and the door pops up. It can be running for 5mins plus, but as soon as it stops and the door activates E2 appears on the display.
Any idea’s??

A guess would be faulty door safety microswitch/s.
I have never had any dealings with this appliance, just throwing my two pence worth in 😉Greg

Cheers Gegsy, thats what I thought. Started off with ceramic base cracked, then when fitted discovered both h/v transformers gone up in smoke, replaced and now this! have repaired quite a few of these in the past 15 years and always thought E2 was a high voltage problem, but everything meters out ok.
