Metal? in washing machine tumbler

    Hiya

    We just put a spin on and halfway through it, there’s a sound of scratching metal whenever the tumbler spins. My girlfriend thinks that it’s the metal from a bra of hers that’s come out and gone through one of the holes in the machine (it’s a Smeg).

    I don’t really know what I’m after – just some advice really, is this something that can be typically easily fixed or something we are going to have to call an engineer out for?

    Most likely a bra wire. If you are lucky you might feel around the drum and hopefully a protruding end of bra wire is there 🙂 If not it sgonna bee a bu@@er.
    Removing heater and with torch abd magnetic tool (no carry-on gags plz)
    try and extract.

    As always unplug from mains before attempting any repair :plug:
