mfi cooker hood

    went to this cooker hood ,only bulb on ,traced fault to switch assy,and small pcb.took mod no ext 28 on label,phoned caremark,they do not accept this mod no,computers will not accept it.could this be obselete,and thats why they have not any idea of their own appliances,ta richard. 😕

    Most MFI cooker hoods are in the format APP**** or APL**** where **** represents 4 numbers. The PCB also usually has the part number faintly printed on it. It should be something similar to 08086238.
    Could you have another check and post back please, also stating what type of hood it is (integrated/chimney etc.)?

    Common PCBs for these hoods are 08086238 and 08086215, particularly for the integrated versions.
