MFI/Diplomat APM6855 Freezer Issues

Hi There

Sorry about yet another APM6855 post, but any help will be greatly appreciated!

Had this fridge about 2 years now and recently had the common problem of the fridge not cooling and displaying the H symbol. That turned out to be a dead fan motor. Got that changed and all was working fine, but now it’s the freezer! It’s displaying erratic temperatures (-18 then jumps to +10etc), but the freezer still seems to be working OK. Could live with it except for the irritating beep that kicks in when it jumps to +10 etc.

Had the temperature probe replaced but that did nothing. I’ve read that the PCB might need changing but that’s £75 I could put towards a new fridge if it does’nt work . Any advice?

that does sound very much like a pcb fault,make sure power is off and disconnected and double check all connections to pcb and sensors make sure they are all good tight and clean connections
