We have a Hinari Lifestyle Compact Microwave, model MX616.a simple but very good unit but over the years the little wheels under the turntable have worn out the white paint………now it’s flaking off in a circle and we were wondering if there’s a type of microwave proof paint we could use to make this good…..it would be a shame to throw out a working oven for a lick of paint! any ideas please?

There is no specialist paint for this, just pop down to your local motor factor and pick up some cellulose car touch-up paint. You should be able to get a reasonable colour match 😉

Don’t forget to clean up the metal first with some fine emery, check the rollers on the turntable carriage for rough spots, and then put a good two or three coats of paint on.
