Miele 300 washing machine – Replace bearings or new machine?

Hi,

My drum wanders a lot, spins freely then stops and grinds for a part of the turn then repeats. Its either the bearings or spider so requires removing drum either way.

I have spent some hours trying to remove it, almost there but, in all honesty, is it worth fixing or should i replace the whole machine? There is a Bosch for £239.

If a repair is the common consenus then is there a recommended person based in Kent who would take on the job at this stage?

I called a number of people during my lunch break and none will touch a Miele as Miele have their own teams.
