Miele 844 EL200

My Miele W844 has just broken – after a full load the rinses light started flashing. It now fills partly then the rinses light flashes and it stops.
I have seen similar problems posted here (in particular June 0
and it seems the problem was traced to a faulty EL200 control board.

Has anyone replaced their control board and if so did this solve the problem.

Rinses light usually means no signal from the tacho on the motor to the board within 1.5s. could be your carbon brushs,motor,electronic board or even your wiring loom! i would go with the brushs first though much cheaper. these can be tricky to access/remove/replace depends on your skill you usually get to the motor by removing/opening the front panel on mieles personally i would get an engineer to look otherwise could work out very costly just swapping parts on one of these machines.

power off first if your going to attempt anything!
