When machine fills with water there is a dramatic leak from the soap dispenser drawer. Basically air is not venting out of the drum so water overflows through the dispenser. I have run the machine with the side panel off and if I remove the small vent hose between the fill connector on the drum and the ball valve on the plastic discharge tank there is a puff of escaping air and the drum fills normally. I have removed all hoses and valves and cleaned them out as they were bunged up but the problem still remains and all other functions appear top work properly. Has anyone got any ideas?

when you say you have removed all hoses- have you removed the breather hose that comes off the side of the water path control box into the top off the tub?
this causes an air lock when blocked and causes the water to exit the dispenser drawer.
    hope this helps

    Thanks for the advice guys.
I have checked all hoses and I think everything is clear. When everything has been drained down and dry it fills with water OK, after it has pumped water out the air lock returns and it floods. Should the drain hose and the plastic drain tank on the rear of the machine be empty after pumping out? It seems to be full of water preventing air venting through the non return valve at the top.
