Hi ,I am trying to find the cheapest programme to run. We are using the Eco setting on our dishwasher but also selecting “Express” button because it cuts the running time down to 1hr 15 mins.
Is the Eco programme 50c temp no longer used (Economical) by also pressing Express button…are we better off running Eco on it’s own…even if the running time is a couple of hrs longer?
    Thanks

First off like a washing machine set the correct programme for the crockery type and soiling level. Don’t just put heavy soiled items on a quick wash and expect top results as it just won’t happen.

In the instruction manual pages 49 and on deal with programme options etc. The ECO is the best way, if you add the express as well to it you are not being energy efficient as that option uses more electricity!!

    Cheers Don.
ECO cycle is 4 hrs, which sort of threw me for cost of ECO vs shorter time. So I suppose it’s not all about time then Don for cost of running .

A 4 hour cycle, bloody hell!! I`m surprised you don`t pick up your pension or heavens forebid, your pine box waiting for that to finish. That is dreadful. Quicker by 75{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} to do it via kitchen sink at that rate.

Exactly Andy, Wife said the same.
ECO 50c has less energy consumption and less water used but longer duration than other programmes. I was looking at running costs but 4hrs ?

Quickpowerwash programme 65c 0:58mins. Looks like that will be the one.
