can not find any fault on fill or drain, although fill is a little slow. fill level seems ok.
once it fills to level the circulating pump starts but it doesn’t sound energetic enough. after running for a few seconds the pump stops, rests for a while then starts again, this continues to do this until i reset it.
    capacitor checks out ok.
any ideas on what to look for next, not seen many of these, looks like there is a flow meter or two in there, would this fault cause the fill/drain light to come on!.

Sounds like a low water pressure fault, machine starts after certain time has elapsed & if not enough water is in to activate level switch when circulation pump is started you get a fault.
Worth checking why its slow to fill, perhaps filter in inlet pipe is dirty.
If its got a waterproof type solenoid fitting on end of hose, you can take out the water restrictor with long nose pliers, ( its like a small black washer ).

Time can be extended by going into service mode but check fill problem first.

there is a pressure switch on the side of the circ pump…..it has been known for the plastic adjustment screw to fall out into the tray uderneath, which makes the machine think that the pump is not running,,,, when it is…..

It’s fairly common with these for the pump to become clogged, so not enough pressure to activate the pressure switch on the pump, or for the presure switch itself to fail.

As you say that it doesn’t sound right, I’d probably be looking for a blockage in the pump or not enough water as mentioned above
