Miele Dishwasher G1022SC 3 LED’s Light Up

Customer phoned with a Miele dishwasher reporting that all three yellow LED’s light up at the same time on the front panel? He has checked the sump area for any blockages and can blow through the drain pipe and all seems clear.
The water starts to fill up the dishwasher then in around 15 seconds the drain pump comes on and this process keeps on running until the power is turned off?.

Could this be the overflow switch sitting in the base of the dishwasher staying in the up position or something more expensive? The dishwasher is run from a proper water softener so should not be blocking up with the very hard water scale from Norfolk.
Is there a re set mode like holding the start/stop switch on for 5 seconds on some Miele dishwashers?
