Miele dishwasher G4940 f78 error code

can anyone shed any light on this?

can,t find what’s wrong with the dishwasher. I ran a short wash which went well, no issues. Stuff about return valve, checked that and no issue with this.

Customer impatient and says it is still faulty. Nothing on the internet to suggest what is the f78 code.

any ideas?

Correction- f78 implies faulty circulation pump. It works perfectly well when I was there. Hence I was stumped.

thank you for your help, owner decided it wasn’t worth the trouble. This kind of thing I do come across every now and then when owners buys the budget Miele model and often aren’t prepared to pay for new parts when it breaks as they feel priced out of it in spite of getting a really good price on the parts. I do feel for them.
