Went to this job today, customer complained of drain/inlet error. Checked out machine, which drains ok and water enters ok. Checked all filters, inlet and outlet. I started the machine on new cycle, it drained OK and then took in the water to the correct level. It then went into wash cycle for about ten seconds and stopped for about the same and then went back to wash cycle for ten seconds. This continued for about five minutes when the drain/inlet error flashed. I have checked the metering chamber and all hoses on machine for blockages to no avail. Has anybody got any clues to this fault.

either worn or blocked wash pump, but i did come across one with a blocked pressure switch, one too the left of wash motor.

You should hear the pressure switch engage as the wash motor kicks in.

Thanks for the tip, I checked the circulation pump and believe it or not there was a plastic bag stuck in the inlet!!!
