    Had the usual ‘and can you just have a look at this while you’re here’ as I was trying to get home to pick up my lad.
    Didn’t get chance to open it up but what’s happening is.
    On any programme

    Drain as normal, then start to fill for around 10 seconds.

    Inlet /drain flashes, machine stops filling for about 5 seconds and then fills again for 10. Carries on doing this till full and then just sits there doing nothing other than the lamp flashing five times then solid for about 5 secs and repeat.

    Any inkling what I need to look for?

    Got this one booked on for tomorrow. Any ideas what I should be looking at? Thought possibly the reed switch faulty, but would it keep trying to fill if it is? Nae too well up on miele machines, maybe I should get some of their service manuals 😉
