Miele dishwasher G977 Plus inlet/drain flashing

Hi,
Machine starts to fill then stops after few seconds, then inlet/drain light starts to flash. It keeps filling like this but doesn’t start to wash. There is a flow meter on the side chamber which appears to be turning ok. I have also checked the inlet filters and water pressure seems to be ok. Customer has recently had some plumbing work done so the stop cock was turned off could this have affected the machine?

not sure if this will help but had a similar problem with a different model and it turned out to be the water level indicator /which is a kind of pressure switch.but it could also be something in the impellor of the main wash motor.

If water supply has been ajusted its maybe that its not filling to required level in time. Common problems with them are faulty flowmeters or connections from flow meter to board.
