Went to look a at a miele dishwasher today reported leaking and not using salt. Looking at it leak was from backnut on metering fill tank, tightened this and could not see any other leaks. Didn’t help that that the overfill float switch had be disabled by previous persons! hence water was leaking onto floor. Plug connection to solenoid on side of softner (under leak) was a bit corroded but looked viable after cleaning, coil was not OC.
Question is at what part of the cycle does regeneration take place on this machine? I sat and watched for a while but progs are quite long, and can’t be advanced as far as I know.also Any idea how old this machine would be as was inherited from previous house owner 3 year ago.
