Miele W6252. About 3 years old, it’s the one with a button for every programme.
Fault in display was ‘ Drum fault ‘
I started checking it But then it righted itself,
Just got a call from customer to say worked a few times, Now ‘ drum light fault ‘ is
Coming up on display and not starting,
They had mentioned this had been a problem before, But the light is working
And why would a light fault stop the machine working.
Anyone got any ideas.
Theres a locating switch on the light socket to prove that the lamp is in position, cycle wont start if it thinks bulb/lamp has fallen out. Usually a twist/tweek of the lamp does the job, theres a locating pin on the small lamp bulb that makes a switch that tells the electronics that its in place correctly ..
Don’t want anyone getting glass in their Y fronts do we..
