i have a miele g4920 sc dishwasher which has started turning its power on & off numerous times during a wash cycle. I have checked the filters in the machine & there are no blockages or debris & everything moving as it should. I have also had the back off & checked the pump impeller & hoses & again all seems ok. My only conclusion is that the synchronous motor is on its way out & needs replacing. At £62 i don’t want to buy it & find out that it’s not the reason for the fault. If anyone can suggest whether they agree with my diagnosis or come up with another cause for the fault i would be grateful. Thanks in advance. Andy
when you say turning power off please explain more
just the motor or all the lights on the control panel as well ?

Hi Dave. It is a complete shutdown of power. All the lights go off. Everything will then come back on with no intervention, the wash will continue & then shut back down again periodically.
