    Hi peeps.
I think a lot of water had got down the back of the washing machine.
    Showing error code 138. F .
    saying check inlet and outlet.
im not too good with my memory at the mo due to long covid. I’d appreciate any advice thanks.

These machines have a base under the appliance with a float switch detecting leaks, that error means theres water in the base and has activated this switch.

Check the door seal for holes, otherwise all you can do is clear that water either by tilting the machine or using a wet vacuum, then running it again and checking for anything leaking.

Thank you, Ive cleared the nearby sink drain, which I think also was blocked, and have noticed the machine is on the ‘h’ ( norfolk expression) .
After I got someone to pull the machine out, I noticed that it wobbled and seemed to work better once I’d wedged something under the machine.
currently runnng the rinse programme a few times

I’ve got a £269 service booked, which I could ( maybe??!! ) cancel as when I rang up asking how to clear the fault code, they did not tell me how to check the outlets . I could try to cancel on Saturday

The agent told me I’d have to have the engineer out, as the error code would likely recur, is this true?
This morning I’m running it through a 40 degree programme so far with no problems.
Could I cancel the engineer or should I leave it( assuming they will allow me to and refund me)

Machine has now run a 40 degree programme without showing an error
