Miele G1180Vi all programme lights flashing

Hi, The machine switches on ok and will start on all programmes but after a few minutes and before the the prewash cycle has completed the buzzer sounds and all programme lights flash. The Machine drains then stops. I had this problem before twice, and the Machine somehow unlocked itself, once after a few weeks of inactivity,once when I checked and cleaned out the drain cock and impeller. Hope you can help.

maybe water has leaked from somewhere into the base. tilt machine backwards to 45 degrees and see if any water comes out, if it does then this is the problem, you will need to find out where the water is leaking from

OK thanks v much for coming back. Tipped backwards as suggested and about a cupful of water came out. How difficult will it be to identify the leak? Do I need to take the back bottom plate off?

maybe the door seal has split. all accessed from the front
