Dw has been in storage for 2 years and now circ. pump motor very tight to turn and no sign of any previous leak through seal. In fact customer said it was working fine before being put into storage
Got it out but cant see how you get impeller off shaft. Earlier motors had nut on impeller, not this one.

    Anyone seen this before.

On the Miele dishwashers which have’nt been used for a while you can actually turn the impellor from the sump of the appliance by using a tool like a tuning fork which is available to Miele engineers, there was an issue with the carbon seal used on them drying up & sticking.
If this one is seized solid, theres a slot on the end of motor shaft, by turning it with a large flat screwdriver & jamming the impellor, it should screw off.

Thanks for that Seamy. Got it off and freed it. Dont know why it should have gone stiff to turn.
