My Miele G1270 scvi is showing fault 24. I have researched the code on the web and it would seem to point to the heater relay. I have replaced the heater relay but I still get the same fault. Someone from a service company said that it was only a general finding and that the fault could be many things. I have checked that the heating element is ok and it is. The pressure switch is also working, the temperature sensor in the sump is also working. The machine is 9 years old but immaculate and still like new. The fault code comes up 14 seconds after starting the machine. When the fault first occurred we went on holiday two days later. When we returned after 9 days the machine ran as normal for about 13 minutes and then came up with F24. Every time I try to start any program the F24 fault comes up after 14 seconds. However if the machine is left for about 4 days the machine will run for 13 minutes before coming up with error code 24. It then keeps on bringing up the error code unless it is left alone for 4 days! I managed to find out how to get into the service mode of the dishwasher and ran service U2 which it completed successfully several times. It fills to correct height & drains. Any suggestions?
