does anyone know of a way to cancel an alarm and reset this machine please?

it belongs to one of my best ever customers and i cannot get to her as quickly as i’d like.
the story is that the water board cut off the mains to her village without warning. the supply is now restored but the dishy won’t work. she says that when starting a cycle the drain pump runs. but then all lights start flashing. she also says that she has to turn of at mains switch to stop the sound. to me sounds like a base flood but can’t see how as the water was off.
leaving all that aside i’m hoping to tell her how to reset to determine if there is in fact a fault as consequence of water board.

    thanks

Best to take out dishy, tip up to empty water from base. It will reset & work o.k when float switch is reset.
A solenoid valve needs water pressure to stay closed, if theres no pressure to keep it closed it can leak through, it just needs a little trickle.
Most Mieles have a dual solenoid in series in the intake pipe, if this is leaking through it may have grit or sand in one of the valves & need replacing.
