I’m a retired appliance engineer with a dodgy back! (It comes to us all!)
One of my neighbours has a Miele G107i integrated dishwasher, 10-12 yrs old.
The top spray arm keeps falling off. I had a look and the thread on the retainer is very eroded as is the plastic lock nut in the roof of the tub into which the retainer screws. (Lock nut is what Miele call it.)
My question: Is it necessary to gain access to the top of the tub in order to change the lock nut or can the job be done from inside the tub.
The dishwasher is installed at eye-level and will be a bitch to get out!
I have bought the parts and await your advice with bated breath.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that!
Job done, neighbour happy!
Did have to pull the machine out a short way to put
a piece of wood in across the top to prevent the feed
pipe from springing away while trying to get the nut
to locate.
Thanks again
