Miele G4203i Dishwasher Error Code: F70

Good morning all,

The above dishwasher’s anti-flood device has been activated, accompanied by error F70

There was a little water in the base, so I removed the machine, and dried out thoroughly.

However, upon retesting the above recurs after a few seconds, F70 displayed, and tap/drain led & next one down, rinse aid led flash in unison.

So, I then had a look at the float micro switch, which has a positive click and Ohms readings good when operating switch manually.

Will return to check wiring to/from the above micro switch to power module, and wonder if I should be looking at other areas, or suspecting fault in board which costs around £290.00?!

have you checked switch reading when open

dishwashers have salt which can be conductive. was thinking it may have a slight leakage when open

Have you checked the side chamber valve not leaking on it’s O ring when filling?
Had that plenty of times

Sorry for my late response to your helpful pointers.

The customer decided to buy a new dishwasher last week, and I didn’t realise (no email notification) that I’d had some feedback.
