We have a Miele G4302SC which recently has begun to display a F70 fault code. I deduced that the float underneath was activating the switch because the tray had filled with water. Sure enough, standing the machine on blocks with the lower tray removed does reveal a leak of water coming down through a hole in the plastic plinth moulding on the machine’s left side and once this water can get away the F70 fault doesn’t occur. But it’s hard to see or deduce where the water is coming from. There is some kind of grey overflow ducting above the moulding at that point but not sure what is overflowing from within the machine or how this water gets outside the tub. Can it be stopped? Why is it overflowing if that’s what it is doing?
