Miele G5191SCVI (57/01086122) Dishwasher Error Code: F14

Good afternoon all,

On a wash cycle the above dishwasher drains, fills and washes perfectly for around five minutes.

Then it beeps, and displays F14 which I’ve ascertained through Miele’s UK website that F14 can relate to a blocked circulation pump, a water intake fault – pump pressure level switch, or heating level switch.

The site also states the error could be caused by the on site drainage connection being too low.

I suspect that the problem is the heating level switch, but I didn’t have time to remove the integrated unit, and test further, as I was visiting purely to look at their Miele washing machine…

Anyway, looking at a Miele parts diagram, I cannot locate the above item, and would be grateful for any help…

p.s. the only switch that I can see in that area is a pressure switch ( Part No: 6996821) connected to the circulation pump (12134000) and the Miele Parts Advisor was of little help/didn’t have any idea where this part was located…

Yes that will be the pressure switch that it is moaning about, it is not easy to test the switch in situ as it is in the middle of the machine on the side of the pump, it is often easier to test from the control panel, it is 2 x changeover switches in the one body. I have changed several of these switches to cure this problem, they are usually either gunged up or starting to short to earth.

I would take the wash motor out and check the impeller isn’t restricted with debris or those horrible plastic detergent wrappers that are supposed to dissolve, but don’t always.
