    Saw this 1984 dishwasher and when timer begins it drains fills drains then fills but very slowly. The timer clicks onto wash without being filled but the solenoid stops being energized. If you turn it back to the fill position it continues to fill so pressure switch still asking for water. It seems to be the aqua stop valve slow. Does it only give it a minute to fill? then starts washing irrespectve of level?
    How much is the valve?

    Hi Simon
    Have you removed the gauze filter inserted into the fill hose end/s?
    Sometimes these get crudded up 😀 Worth a look before re-mortgaging your house to buy spares 😆

    blocked air break? absolute nightmare to change.

    If its a 100 quid yes
    above that he wants to scrap
