    this machine is displaying E84 code, it states a Slide shutter positioning fault
    could anyone tell me what this means please. John

    I believe it’s part of the main wash pump or close to it, accessible from underneath or maybe by the side. could be something has gone through the wash (china/class/pip) and jammed the shutter. Being miele should not be too hard to remove.
