ParticipantSorry to hog the forum this week……
Have a Miele G7859, coming up with a F A fault.
There are three segments to the display, it reads “F” “blank” “A”.
It does this while heating and washing, I have checked the segment display is not broken, it could show F8.Thanks again for any help,

F.A Normally means a drain probem on Miele Commercial machines i’ve seen. Look for kinked or blocked drain hose or pump problem (blockage in non return valve) 💡 .

Thanks,
When the fault code came up it was washing and heating. After this i canceled the prog and it drained ok. May have to pick this one up to test..

Hi,
Any other ideas on this FA fault?
Have a feeling i may have to have another look next week.I don’t think its a drain fault, maybe fill or heat related?
Along with FA in the window 3 lights are on, final rinse, fill/drain warning, and additional drying. Thanks again

Are you sure its F A & not F 4 or F 9
Dishwasher faults codes i have are :–
F 00 No fault registered
F 01 NTC – temperature sensor or leads open-circuited
F 02 NTC – temperature sensor or leads short-circuited
F 03 Electronic unit fault
F 04 Heating fault: Heating circuit open-circuited
F 05 Drainage fault: Heating level switch
F 06 Water intake fault, too few pulses at start of step
F 07 Water intake fault, too few pulses at end of step
F 08 Water intake fault: Heating level switch has not activated
F 09 Heating level switch has reset after 62 min during steps ZT2 and ZT4March 21, 2008 at 6:44 pm #244250bubs

Cheers Seamy,
Yes it’s def F A in the display, have pic if i could get them off my phone!
I looked at this DW for a shop I do some work for, it has always been slow to fill so f08 would make more sense. However the segment that would turn a A into an 8 is working. They will have to call miele out if we can’t sort it.
Thanks again,
Graeme -
