Miele H6461BP power-on problem – help!

I have just fitted a new factory-supplied control board to this oven – the old board had some intermittent problems. Now, when I plug in the oven at the wall, I get only 3 sets of beeps – with about 6 seconds of silence between them. There is nothing displayed, and the front buttons (all touch only), are completely inactive, including the power-on/off button. It may be that there is some special initialisation procedure that would normally be done either at the factory or by a Miele engineer on fitting of a new board that I am not aware of.

have done a quick google dig but no real info

take you have checked its the correct board for your oven and not an identical one with the wrong software

can find some tech manuals on manualslib for other ovens that say how to get into service mode but your saying none of the buttons work so that’s off the menu

Thanks Dave – it looks to me that this “brand-new” board is faulty!
