Hi The fridge freezer I have is 2.5yrs old just outside warranty and has developed a circular dinner plate sized lump of ice on the refrigerator inside back panel. It also has developed a periodic loud thump noise. Going back a few months it had frozen droplets of water on the back panel but as mentioned above this is now a lump that looks powdery on its surface. I have checked the seal on the door and can’t find a problem. If it had been left open the alarm would have warned us. Fridge temperature has been maintained at 4 degrees. Is it faulty or should we just try a defrost? 😕
