    Hi,

The fridge compartment is too warm (currently 10 degrees whilst set to 5,3 or 1 degree), It basically works when it wants too (fan works fine when fridge behaving)

I have ordered a replacement sensor kit, Is this all i need to fix the problem, or is there any thermostat?
(freezer works fine and I have done a 48hr defrost already)

    any help appreciated…

Depending on the age of the appliance the fault may actually be with the the freezer. If the freezer is unable to reach the required temp the fridge will be shut down and all efforts thrown into the freezer. You will need either a Liebherr or a Miele engineer as the appliance is manufactured by Liebherr.

A sensor kit should cure the problem.

It comes with detailed fitting instructions.

It could be the evaporator sensor, which is foamed in on this model, it activates the valve to send refrigerant to the fridge section, the sensor kit will need fitting to the rear board and is supplied with a new cover for fitting the sensor inside the fridge.
Easy for an Engineer, tricky for a non trades person.

As Tony has said you have to remove the PCB at the bottom right hand corner to connect the sensor on your model.

Not easy if you are not an engineer.

The fitting of the sensor new cover is not difficult if you follow the instructions.

If you do decide to fit the sensor yourself then I would advise you to remove the PCB carefully and also take photos as you go in case you pull any leads off so you will know where to re connect them.

If you have never fitted one it can be difficult to refit the clear plastic cover to protect the connections from water or damp.
