    This fridge freezer has been a nightmare since day 1 frankly.

    as with every mass produced appliance you will always get a lemon unless the whole production has the fault

    dont know as fridges are not my area of expertise but someone i know did say Liebherr have got a few mods in some of their units to correct production design errors

    If that is the case in yours I would expect Miele tech to know if there are any pertaining to your unit

    but on another tack
    your legal contract is with the retailer not with miele. I am assuming you did not buy it direct. It may be worth contacting the retailer or maybe you should be taking them to court.
    Look into the consumer rights act as this gives you certain right to expect appliances to be fit for purpose and of merchantable quality

    just ideas for you to investigate

    The service certificate is with miele so they must honour their legal obligations.
    they’ve failed to repair so should therefore replace which they have not offered to.
