Hi all, as mentioned in the topic heading. I have a Miele KFN8962 fridge freezer. I’d like your opinions on whether it’s worth repairing or is even possible to repair. It stopped cooling recently, however it will still cool when the super button is pressed, so it looks like it’s not a compressor issue. This got me maybe thinking it’s a thermostat/sensor issue, but I have doubts whether it is this either, as the correct temperature of the fridge is still displayed on the digital display at the top suggesting that the thermometer is still reading. So it looks more like a logic issue, i.e the compressor is not kicking in when the set point is passed. I hope that makes sense. Ultimately is anyone on here able to diagnose what the issue may be or come across anything similar and do you think it’s economical to repair? The unit came with the house so no real financial loss if not it’s just that I don’t like throwing things away if I don’t have to.
    Thanks.

Refrigerator compartment: The refrigerator compartment is equipped with a foamed-in evaporator, an air sensor and an evaporator sensor. Both sensors can be replaced separately. The air sensor detects the temperature for the temperature display and switches off the refrigeration function. The evaporator sensor registers the temperature for defrosting the refrigerator evaporator and switches the refrigeration function on
