Miele KTN4352 Alarm

I am hoping that There are some Miele experts out there to help me with this one

This is a fridge freezer which is wet wall fridge and frost free freezer.

On Monday night the alarm the alarm for the freezer went off repeatly during the night. Customer not happy.
But on Tuesday all seemed well
Wednesday Morning alarm starts again. When I called around the alarm was off. Checked unit found that there was no power from module to fan or compressor. Shorted out door switch – no difference. Compressor at that time was cool and no ice on evaporater. Suggested that it may be module problem and would price up. Phone goes about 10mins later to say that fan and compressor now running.
Called back later that day and sure enough everything as normal even the temp in freezer was showing -23 on my digital thermometer.
This morning phone goes at 10am alarm on. I call at 10-30am no alarm and freezer temp normal. Thinking is this now defrost cycle causing alarm?????
Nothing in book so I said i would call back later on way home to see if the alarm had come back on.
Called back at 3.45pm to be told you have just missed it – it stopped as you rang the door bell.

Question is it defrost cycle causing this??( customer has not heard this till now)
Is it a sensor problem

Is it a module problem

Any help out there

Ask the lady what is the fault code (F?) it shows when its in alarm state.
Most likely is that its a temp’ probe failing, sometimes they take in moisture & this shorts the sensor. After drying it, a rub of silicone around where the cable goes in to sensor seems to do the trick.

Hi

This unit doesnt have a digital display. It has a bank on 5 vertical leds for fridge and one for freezer. These do not appear to give any type of codes??
Will this fridge freezer have some sort of system for fault indication using these lights?
