Miele Novotronic T7634 vented tumble dryer

Hi – the machine is not heating up when starting programme then after several minutes ‘cooling down’ flashes on the control panel.

Brushes are good

All airways clean and clear although they were clogged up with fluff.

Thermal cut-out on back has not tripped.

Any ideas on the cause and the fix for this problem?

assume you have wet clothes in it or it wont heat, my trick is to damp a piece of kitchen roll and place it across the brush gear. works a treat and a lot easier than getting a pile of wet washing

if still no heat there will be relays controlling the heater and I have had them fail on lots of dryers
