I have a problem with a Meile top loader washing machine.

When I attended, I found the start light flashing rapidly and the machine would not do anything.

If you switch the power off at the plug, hold the start button down and switch the power at the plug back on, it will reset the machine. You can then select a programme and start the programme, it then runs for about 10 seconds and goes back to the original condition with the start light flashing rapidly.

This could be as simple as the anti flood sensor tripping but I thought before taking it apart and thus wasting my time, if anybody would have an opinion.

The start light flashing, means the inner lid is not locked, so could be a problem with the associated switch or catch
