Hello all, our Miele W970 washing machine about 1 wash in 10 stops mid cycle with the check inlet light flashing. There seems to be plenty of water getting into the machine and after restarting the machine it goes on to complete its cycle. The only maintenance the machine has needed since new is the motor brushes have been replaced (the last time in February this year). What should I check before I have to call Miele? Thanks.
the problem with these type of faults is it does not happen every time
as all machine get old things perish and miele’s are not immune. my first thought would be inlet valves it may be getting enough water in but is it going in quick enough (i.e. is the valve not opening fully )
Thanks for the thoughts. It does seem random when the light comes on. I think I’ll have to leave it to get worse until I call the Miele man out. I don’t want to pay for a call out and him not find a definite fault.
If its the hose with the water proof system the valves jam up internally and needs the hose replacing, a sign of this is excessive buzzing during filling
