Miele novotronic WT 945 washing machine

My Miele novotronic WT 945 washing machine won’t wash. It will fill with water then make a humming noise when it comes to the wash cycle for a couple of minutes then beep to say it’s finised and the water inlet/drain will flash. The rinse, drain, spin and starch cycle all work just none of the wash cycles. I have drained the water from the inlet drain as well.

could be a failed water valve. see if the humming seems to come from where the water hose goes into the back of the machine
