We have a Miele 6560 fan oven. Recently it has developed a strange fault. Most times when you open the door during cooking a massive cloud of steam comes straight out of the oven – usually into your face if you’re not ready for it. The “wetter” the thing you’re cooking (eg roast vegetables) – the worse the cloud is.
This is bad enough on its own – but some of the cloud usually penetrates the front panel, causing the control electronics to malfunction and the oven to repeatedly switch on and off.
I have drawn a blank searching for this problem online and wondered if anybody on here had ever seen it happening and could advise what I might try to fix it?
You can see a video of the problem (mild this time) here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76hDYBkBH4k
Thanks for any help/advice.
